De Ville, Hugh Nicholas Moran, Kathleen Charlotte French Fairburn, Fung Siu Kin, Victor Cecil Branson, Wong Shu Kat, Cheng Kam, Hau Luk, Lo Chung, arthur Albert Andrews, Pun Tak, Yung Jou, Sidney Bowles, ric Sellars, Philip Simmons, Lilim Maude Vincent, Olive May Thomson, Leslie Frederick Gaywood, Thomas Mc Carthy, albert Edward Burgess, Charles Glover, William O'Kelly, William Georges Giles, Hou Ving Hong, Lo Fong, Wong Kan, Thomas Ross Hunter, Thomas Henry Joseph Pine, John O'Donovan Timothy lurphy, Sim Pen Kia were severally examined before me, a Magistrate of the above Colony, on the day and
at the place hereinbefore mentioned; the usual oath was adminstered to the said Douglas ames Valentine, artin Ingram De Ville, Hugh Nicholas Moran, Kathleen Charlotte French Fairburn, Victor Cecil Branson, Arthur Albert Andrews, Sidney Bowles, Tric sellars, Philip Simmons, Lilim Maude Vincent, Olive May Thomson, Leslie Frederick Gaywood, T. Me Carthy, A.E. Burgess, C.Glover, J.O'Kolly, W.G.Giles, T.R.Hunter, and the usual declaration was made by th said

prior to their examination, and the examination, was taken in the presence of the
accused and he was
asked if he wished to cross-examine,
and had a full opportunity of cross-exan ining or did actually cross-examine the said
persons; and the examination of such persons was reduced into writing, and read over
